The SENSE CITY project is located in the suburbs of Kyiv, an area traditionally known for its
cozy streets and quiet spaces.

As residents spend most of their time within their neighborhood, the core mission of the concept was to
create a comfortable environment for daily living.

The site is designed as a fully-fledged urban quarter,

featuring eight multi-sectional residential buildings, a primary school, a shopping center, and two open-air parking structures.

The ground floors are dedicated to social infrastructure, hosting small offices, shops, and cozy cafes that stimulate natural urban interaction.

Our main goal

was to accommodate everything
they need to live in the area of
9.5 hectares.

The courtyards, sheltered within the residential clusters, are entirely pedestrian-focused and include green spaces, children's playgrounds, and relaxation zones.

A main pedestrian axis runs between the buildings — an avenue featuring active playgrounds, canopies, and resting areas with landscaped clusters.

The central fountain, paired with a small amphitheater, serves as the main anchor point, designed for gatherings, brief pauses, and socializing.

SENSE CITY demonstrates that suburban architecture can be profound and thoughtful, shaping an environment where everyone — regardless of age or lifestyle — can find their perfect place.
